Assign RIN numbers the way you want
Most people prefer to have the low numbered RINs assigned to their family. Some people use RINs in their filing system for physical records such as birth certificates and photos. In the past this system was difficult to maintain because there was no easy way to control RINs.
With FamilyInsight you can assign any RIN to any person you like. You can even select a large group of people and assign a block of RINs starting with the RIN of your choice.

Disclaimer: As programs change FamilyInsight will not have the updates for these new versions so always make a copy of your file before using FamilyInsgiht to protect against changes in file format that have been made after FamilyInsight worked on those file formats.
